In an effort to promote the contemporary music scene in Switzerland, Pro Helvetia New Delhi is participating in Baajaa Gaajaa 2010, a unique music expo that brings musicians and scholars on one platform.
In an effort to promote the contemporary music scene in Switzerland, Pro Helvetia New Delhi is participating in Baajaa Gaajaa 2010, a unique music expo that brings musicians, scholars, instrument makers, indie record labels, publishers and technicians together on one platform.
Baajaa Gaajaa is a four-day event dedicated to Indian music in all its diversity and richness. Scheduled to take place from 5 to 7 of February 2010 in Pune, it will bring together organisations and individuals connected with music and music-making in 21st century India. The event provides a platform for seminars on a variety of themes related to the music industry. Film screenings on music are followed by interactive sessions where the audience can interact with directors and musicians.
Carine Zuber, Member of the Pro Helvetia Board will be visiting India in February 2010. Carine is also the Director of the Cully Jazz Festival. She will participate in the Baajaa Gaajaa Festival in Pune between 5 and 7 February.
