The Swiss List

Pro Helvetia and Seagull Books London are collaborating over a long-term publishing project entitled The Swiss List. The project envisages publishing books of Swiss origin into the English language. [dated July 2010]

Pro Helvetia - Swiss Arts Council and Seagull Books London are collaborating over a long-term publishing project entitled The Swiss List.The project envisages publishing a minimum of 8 - 10 books of Swiss origin between 2010 and 2012 into the English language for the world and in particular the Indian sub-continent.

Authors and their works that are considered for the project include:
Urs Widmer- Der Geliebte der Mutter
Urs Widmer- Das Buch des Vater
Urs Widmer- Vom Leben, vom Tod und vom Übrigen auch dies und das. Frankfurter Poetikvorlesungen, Correspondence: Max Frisch and Friedrich Durrenmatt, Rainer Brambach: Gesammelte Gedichte.

Titles from Swiss literature in French are also under consideration.
